Residential Support Worker - Gloucestershire and Surrounding Areas

We are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers to join a range of services in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

This role offers the opportunity to support a vital service, with both day and night shifts available.

We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join a leading care agency, providing crucial support to children and young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
  • Provide general and 1:1 support to children with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Assist in supporting young people in the community and helping them live a fulfilling and enjoyable life.
  • Promote the well-being, development, and independence of the individuals under your care.
  • Ensure a high standard of care in line with regulatory requirements and safeguarding guidelines.
  • Contract Type: Temporary (Ongoing agency cover)
  • Full-time potential (Shifts include day, night, weekend, and evening shifts)
  • Salary: £12.83 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift pattern
  • Location: Gloucestershire and surrounding areas
  • Experience in a care/support work environment is essential.

Autism Awareness (Free training provided by us)

  • Safeguarding training is essential, and can be completed free of charge with us.
  • Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 qualification (desirable but not essential).

  • Enhanced DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Two professional care-related references.
  • Free accredited training (including safeguarding and other mandatory courses).
  • In-house training and development to support your career progression.
