Child Care Solicitor/Legal Executive Advocate – Bradford

As a key member of the child care law team, you will play a crucial role in advocating for children and families, providing expert legal representation in both public and private law cases. This role offers a diverse and engaging caseload, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in child care law.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage a caseload of child care law cases, ensuring efficient and effective case progression✅ Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring clarity in complex legal matters
✅ Advocate in court proceedings, including care proceedings and adoption cases
✅ Draft and prepare legal documents, applications and court reports
✅ Conduct legal research and stay up to date with child care law developments
✅ Liaise with social workers, local authorities and other professionals involved in child protection cases
✅ Maintain compliance with Children Panel rules and professional standards
✅ Mentor and support junior team members
✅ Contribute to business development by building strong client relationships
Requirements:
✔ Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive Advocate with proven experience in child care law✔ LAA Supervisor status (preferred but not essential)
✔ Strong advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court
✔ A client-focused approach, demonstrating compassion and excellent communication skills
✔ Experience handling complex child care cases and liaising with local authorities
