The Fundraising Regulator is the independent regulator of charitable fundraising in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We also regulate fundraising by charities in those countries when they fundraise in Scotland. Our regulation takes place through the Code of Fundraising Practice which applies across the UK.

We work in partnership with other regulators and the representative bodies in the charitable and fundraising sectors to build public confidence in fundraising and ensure fundraising best practice to protect the public and support the vital work of fundraisers.

This is an exciting time for the Fundraising Regulator, following the launch of the final phase of the review of the Code of Fundraising Practice. In early 2025, the code will be sent to the board for approval ahead of its publication. We will also be at the mid-point of our current five-year strategic plan in 2025 and we are already thinking ahead to see what charitable fundraising will look like beyond the plan.

We are seeking four new Board Members to help drive this next chapter of growth and innovation, who will bring an understanding of charitable governance.

Ideal candidates will have expertise including leadership within the charitable sector, experience of leading within a regulator; an understanding of fundraising strategy, or commercial and financial expertise which will be of relevance to our Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.

If you share our values and are ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of charitable fundraising, please get in touch.

Please submit your application with your personal email address to ensure you receive acknowledgement of receipt.

Please note, to ensure confidentiality, applications submitted under a work email address will not receive acknowledgement of receipt.
