Control System Engineer – Worcestershire - £(phone number removed) + £4200 Car Allowance + Private Health Insurance
The successful Control System Engineer will be joining a specialist controls & automation company that has their own manufacturing and panel assembly capabilities. The equipment the Control System Engineer will be working on will typically consist of variable speed drives, PLCs and HMIs with communication interconnections.
Some of the industries/areas the project work the successful Control System Engineer will be working on include energy storage, energy recovery & renewables.
Key aspects of the Control System Engineer role include –- Design, development and implementation of control systems software solutions
- Play a major role in the team in understanding and implementing customer specifications
- Strong PLC/SCADA/HMI knowledge across a range of vendors
- Working alongside high calibre, well qualified Engineers
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
- Working with Ethernet (IP) and Profinet and ideally Modbus, Profibus, Profisafe, ControlNet, CTNet.

- First class communication skills – experience of working well within a multi-faceted team environment, supporting sales teams with bid preparation through to site based commissioning
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Driving licence
