Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. DutiesAs a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Supporting individuals with mobility and physical activities.
- Communicating effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation to ensure personalised care is provided.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the care environment.
- Engaging residents in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Driving residents to appointments or outings as required.
Experience
The successful candidate should ideally have:
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role within a care home setting.
- Strong English language skills for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
- A valid driving licence and own car would be advantageous.
- A caring attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- The ability to adapt to new situations and new people with ease, confidence and poise is hugely beneficial in this role.

- 100% (required)
