Transactional Finance Manager
Robert Half are delighted to be supporting an organisation in East Bristol on the recruitment of a Transactional Finance Manager. Our client has recently gone through a period of change and are seeking an experienced and "hands on" individual who thrives on supporting in a busy and fast paced environment.
This is a full-time and permanent position of 37.5 hours per week, with a hybrid working model of 1 day per week minimum in the office.
Responsibilities of the Transactional Finance Manager include but will not be limited to:
- Management of all sales and purchase ledger processes, ensuring all transactions are entered accurately and timely in line with agreed policies and processes.
- Line management of a team, supporting with training, coaching and mentorship as well as regular appraisals and performance reviews.
- Support with month end accruals processes.
- Reviewing and improving the current supplier payment and cash matching/allocation processes.
- Ensuring all supplier statement reconciliations are performed and escalating as necessary to senior stakeholders.
- Supporting with the ledger systems development.
- Setting and monitoring KPI's to drive efficiencies.
Your Profile:
- Prior purchase ledger management experience is essential, ideally within a P2P Purchase Ordering system.
- Strong proven experience of line management.
- Good exposure to both purchase and sales ledger.
- Accounting systems implementation and/or change experience is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, and ability to manage key stakeholder relationships.
- AAT accounting qualification: anything further is desirable.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £48k (dependant on experience) plus benefits including 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), life assurance, access to training and development, family friendly policies and more.
