Project Coordinator

Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join our Technical Services team!
As the Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of capital projects by coordinating project plans and maintaining clear communication across all project stakeholders. You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Champions, and contractors to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
You will assist in the development of project briefs, the approval process, tender management, and ensure that key tasks, such as raising POs and contractor coordination, are carried out efficiently. Your role will be integral in making sure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of multiple projects across the Resort by maintaining and updating project plans. You will ensure that Gantt charts for projects are regularly updated and accessible to all stakeholders.
- Liaise regularly with Project Managers, Project Champions, and contractors to ensure decisions are clearly communicated and project plans are updated promptly. Proactively identify and highlight any risks to timelines or budgets, keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Assist in the collation and review of clear project briefs, ensuring alignment with the project goals. Support the project approval processes and contribute to project tendering where required.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and liaise with external contractors to ensure that all plans are coordinated effectively. Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring that all necessary pre-work documentation is completed and shared in a timely manner.
- Be the central point of contact for project coordination, assisting with project scheduling, document management, and ensuring that all relevant administrative tasks are completed to keep projects on track.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in administrative support and coordination.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities, with the capability to manage and update project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external suppliers. Confidence in presenting clear information to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software like Microsoft Project, or a high level of competence with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to handle changing timelines, priorities, and requirements while maintaining a high standard of performance.
- Experience in liaising with internal teams, external suppliers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met and expectations are managed.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative team player, able to thrive in a team-oriented environment while remaining self-driven and efficient.

Pay Range: Compensation between GBP £28,500.00/Yr.-GBP £31,000.00/Yr.
