**Job Title: Class Teacher****Location: Wessex Lodge School, Frome (position to cover across all
locations)**
**Salary: From £31,650.00 per annum dependant on experience****Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday**
**Contract: Permanent, Term Time only**

**About the role**
As a Class Teacher and under the reasonable direction of the Head Teacher, carry out the professional duties of a teacher as outlined in the jobdescription.
You will ensure provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant anddifferentiated curriculum for students studying in the curriculum area, in
accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies. You will
contribute to raising standards of student attainment and to facilitate and
encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity
to achieve their full potential. You will develop and enhance the teaching
practice of others and to monitor and support the overall progress and
development of students within the curriculum area.
Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil toreach their potential.
Also, as you will be expected to cover across all 3 locations, a full UKDriving Licence is essential

**About us**
Wessex Lodge School currently comprises of three sites: Wessex Lodge Primary
School located in Kilmington, Wessex Lodge Secondary School located in Frome, and Newmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. All sites allow students theopportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range of subject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture, DT, and forest school, as
well as sporting activities.
