Qualifications and Requirements:
Level 3 Health and Social Care: Not essential, but beneficial for the role.Safeguarding: Must have Level 2/3 qualifications. This is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care.
Experience: Previous experience in a residential setting is required. This experience will help in understanding the dynamics and needs of a residential environment.Team Teach: Familiarity with Team Teach strategies is essential. This will enable you to effectively manage challenging behaviors and ensure a supportive environment for the children.
Shift Patterns:
Long shifts: 10am – 11am or 11am to 11pmShort shifts: 4-hour or 8-hour durations
Flexibility in working hours is important to meet the needs of the children and the demands of the residential setting.
