About our Nursery

Busy Bees Peterborough is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 98 children. The nursery features five spacious and bright childcare rooms across two floors, providing a welcoming environment for children to learn and grow. It also has an exciting outdoor space designed to promote self-esteem, confidence, and a love of the outdoors through ample learning opportunities.

The nursery maintains strong communication links with local schools to ensure a smooth transition to full-time education, aligning all learning objectives accordingly. Conveniently, free parking is available.

Role Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements for children.
  • Support the Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure kitchen inventory is well-maintained and assist with ordering and stock management.
  • Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate
  • Ideally experience in leadership within early years settings.
  • Strong mentoring and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive improvements and ensure compliance.
