Our client, a reputable academy based in Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated Level 1B Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and well-being of students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives.
- Support students with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to education.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Carry out administrative tasks related to teaching and learning as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualifications) are advantageous but not essential.
