SALARY: £25,226 FTE / Actual Annual Salary £15,340 + Excellent Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Worcester, West Midlands (WR5)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Handyperson / Caretaker / Facilities Maintenance Operative with experience in a similar caretaking / handy person role, good communication skills and knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
Working as the Handyperson / Caretaker / Facilities Maintenance Operative you will provide a comprehensive handy person service for various properties at the Worcester Royal Hospital site, being aware of and acting in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
As the Handyperson / Caretaker / Facilities Maintenance Operative you will carry out cyclical health and safety checks, liaise with external contractors, and carry out minor maintenance tasks as required.
You will undertake regular tests on fire safety equipment as well as clean, maintain and inspect communal areas to ensure the required standards are met.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS- Experience in a similar handy person / caretaking / facilities or maintenance assistant role
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- IT proficiency – including the use of mobile devices to record inspection forms
