Contact Supervisor Part Time
Are you experienced in providing supervised contacts and promoting safe and effective parenting skills? If so, our client is seeking a dedicated Contract Supervisor to join their team in Children Services.Responsibilities:Provide a high-quality, child-focused, and safe contact service for children and their families/carers.Set up and supervise contact sessions, maintaining accurate records of interactions, child protection concerns, and health and safety issues.Promote and enable parents to practise safe and effective parenting skills.Support families in maintaining or developing the quality of their contact and encourage independent contact within the community.Provide a range of support services to children in need of protection or support and their carers.Ensure implementation of plans for children and families, achieving individual outcomes.Assist children and families/carers in completing life story work.Collaborate with the management team to develop new initiatives and contribute to the centre/s growth.Create a safe, warm, containing, and accepting environment.Requirements:NVQ3 in Childcare or Play Work, NNEB, or equivalent.Experience working with children in need of support and protection.Previous experience in undertaking contact work.Direct work experience with children.Our client offers a rewarding work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth.
