About the role
Reporting to our Content Manager, we are looking for a highly motivated SEO Copywriter to help us scale our business through a new stage of growth and support our ambitious US launch plans. Some of your duties will include:
- Creating and optimising content for organic acquisition following our in-house guidelines and working closely with our SEO Manager (blog articles, ebooks, checklists, reports)
- Adapting and localising UK content for a US audience and deliver new campaigns as part of our US launch
- Supporting our Marketing, Product and Sales teams by writing emails, social media posts, case studies, product landing pages and ad campaign copy
- Collaborating across teams (Legal, CX, Sales, Data, Design) to refine briefs and inform your writing to create high-performing content for different products and channels
- Creating video storylines and scripts
- turning technical into exciting (TikTok, YouTube)
- summarise video content and edit transcripts
- Reviewing and editing writing by colleagues as required
- Effectively managing workload and projects, using our content tracking system (Trello)
- Advocating for our brand and ensure all content aligns with our brand tone of voice
- Bringing fresh ideas and creativity to make our content truly stand out
- Sharing knowledge across departments, eg running training sessions
- You’re a versatile writer with excellent written English and communication skills
- You’re experienced in switching between UK and US English and adapting your tone of voice to the respective audience
- You know how to apply SEO best practices to your work
- You’re excited about becoming an expert in a complex topic and enjoy digging deep into the subject
- You’re able to simplify complex information, make it engaging and tell compelling stories from data
- You’re confident working in a fast-paced environment
- You’re familiar with SEO tools such as SEMrush and conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
- You’re enthusiastic about entrepreneurship or have a keen interest in learning more about startups and the investment landscape
Nice to have but not essential:
- experience using WordPress
- background working in tech startups/SaaS
- knowledgeable about the startup ecosystem (funding rounds, cap tables & share option schemes
