Administrative Assistant - Court and Senate Office - University of St Andrews - ref. z73219223
Reporting directly to the Executive Officer of the University Court and Senate and working closely with the Administrative Officer to the Court and Senate Office you will act as part of the Court Office team and be responsible for general administration and clerical tasks and maintaining high standards and service quality for all aspects of the operation of the Office.
The ability to respond to the varied needs of the Court Office and to prioritise work accordingly in a fast-paced environment is essential, and the observance of confidentiality is required at all times. Good interpersonal skills, flexibility of approach and a willingness to problem solve are also essential.
Previous experience within an academic environment is not essential but you should have experience of working with Microsoft Outlook and Word, and familiarity in Excel. You should also be able to work both with and without supervision.
