HGV 2 / warehouse relief

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving Duties:
• Safely operate an HGV 2 vehicle to deliver timber products to various locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Warehouse Duties:
• Assist in the loading and unloading of timber products.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organizing stock.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV 2 (Category C) driving license.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Proven experience as an HGV driver.
• Forklift license is desirable.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
