An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Head of Sales / Sales Director with a passion for the FMCG industry to drive international growth for a well-known beauty company.

Client Details

My client is a well-established and well respected skincare brand within the beauty industry, creating holistic and skin-friendly products. Still founder owned, the company has a non-corporate, SME feel, despite being founded over 30 years ago.

With a large presence in the UK and US, the brand is now looking for an experienced International Head of Sales or International Sales Director to grow their ROW business.

Description
  • Support the International General Manager on driving international sales growth
  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities globally, across retail, distributors, SPA, cruise and travel retail
  • Recruit, build and manage a team to deliver and support ongoing growth
  • Report regularly to the International GM and other internal stakeholders on progress and sales
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to create streamlined and efficient reporting tools and accurate forecasts
  • Hold full commercial responsibility for your territory with full budget ownership
  • Stay ahead of market trends to identify new opportunities and new markets for growth
  • Formulating and implementing sales strategies to drive international sales growth.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations

Profile

A successful International Head of Sales should have:

  • Extensive experience operating in a senior international role
  • Background in beauty (preferable), fashion or luxury
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, with the ability to build, lead, motivate and manage teams
  • Proven experience of creating and delivering international sales strategies
  • Exposure to fast-paced, dynamic businesses, whether SMEs or evolving blue-chips
  • Strong understanding of retail and wholesale channels across international markets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and reporting skills
  • Result driven, hunter mentality. Enjoys driving new business growth
  • A strong understanding of international trade regulations
  • Ability to travel internationally as required
