Part time Designated Social Care Officer - 47,507NonStop Care is currently working with a well-established local authority on the border of Berkshire and London who are looking for a Designated Social Care Officer to join their new SEND Service.They offer the opportunity to work from home, giving you the opportunity to travel less and spend more time working on your caseload which will lead to greater job satisfactionResponsibilities:The Designated Social Care Officer will support childrens social care compliance with the legislation and spirit of the SEND Code of Practice leading to improved outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disability.You will ensure that the outcomes for disabled children and young people and those with Special Educational Needs are maximised by working to improve; quality of life, school absences, social care needs, personal autonomy and involvement in further education and employment, independent living and community inclusion.
