As an Apprentice Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers, learning the ins and outs of mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. You will be exposed to modern production equipment and techniques, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that will set the foundation for a successful engineering career.
Key Responsibilities- Assist qualified engineers in the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment
- Support diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks to identify faults and implement solutions
- Participate actively in training and development programs to build technical and professional skills
- Carry out routine tasks under supervision, adhering to health and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out as part of your learning process
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to contribute to smooth production operation
- Passion for engineering and a strong desire to learn and develop new skills
- Minimum of 3 National 4's or 5's including Maths, English, and Science, or equivalent qualifications
- Good practical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work within a manufacturing environment and adhere to health and safety policies
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to build a career in engineering
- A structured engineering apprenticeship with a recognised qualification
- Practical, real-world experience in a modern manufacturing facility
