We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and culturally diverse Primary School in Acton, W3. This role involves supporting early years children, particularly those with SEND

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personalised Support: Provide dedicated care and assistance to children with SEN, creating a nurturing and secure environment where every child can thrive.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with staff and parents, ensuring effective communication on children’s daily activities and health needs.
  • Safeguarding: Play a crucial role in safeguarding efforts to ensure the welfare and safety of our young learners.
  • Educational Support: Assist in delivering lessons alongside the class teacher, championing each child’s educational journey with individualised support.
Requirements:
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Care Commitment: Willingness to assist with personal care tasks such as toileting and mealtime support.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with SEN children.
  • Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Additional requirements: o References confirming suitability for role

o Commitment to Safeguarding
o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service

o Eligibility to work in the UK
