We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast.In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.
We have a new opportunity within our Operations team to join them as a Customer Service Advisor.Providing a first-rate customer experience when customers contact us is all part of our mission to be the best tenancy deposit scheme in the business, and your exceptional customer service skills will help us achieve this goal.
What you'll do
As part of the Operations team, you will be the first point of contact for answering customer enquiries about the service we provide.You’ll need to be outstanding on the phone and be able to quickly get to grips with the complexities of our business. You’ll be speaking to customers and recording the nature of their enquiry, so we have useful insight in to why our customers are contacting us.
If you have a background of working in housing, even better but as a minimum you must have a solid customer service and administration background.
Candidates are expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a demonstrable ability to be a competent computer user, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Upon completion of your 6-month probation you'll receive a salary increase and a further increase after 12 months with us!Please note: the starting salary is fixed for all applicants - we do give a salary increase at 6 months and 12 months for this role. Full time applicants only.

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

- Admin: 3 years (preferred)
