Warehouse Manager
We have an exciting Fixed Term opportunity for Warehouse Manager to join our team.

As our Warehouse Manager you will
Oversee the day to day running of the Norwich Warehouse facility and our suppliers who offer 3rd party storage including planning, reporting, compliance and storage and preparing our client's kit for projects to ensure a high quality, efficient and profitable warehousing service.
The role will involve mainly planning and admin related support tasks, based mostly in our office/warehouse but could include the opportunity to go to events, client meetings and supplier meetings. There will be lots of interaction with other colleagues across all departments and a multitude of suppliers.
Day to day responsibilities of our Warehouse Manager will include:
- Manage Teams channel communications with the CPM Leeds team to answer questions about kit availability and suitability (e.g. recommending stage weights over sandbags).
- Ensure all teams put all activities onto the DP calendar and update load lists with the correct kit, including PDI/RI timings.
- Assist the client team with vehicle and power requirements when booking events.
- Monitor kit in the warehouse to prevent double bookings and manage the kit planner calendar if appropriate.Updating kit and stock records for client owned equipment on our in-house tracker - building on the framework we have and developing system as required
- Book crew/warehouse labour to support in Warehouse and projects as required
- Logistics planner, own the logistics crew planner, becoming the main point of contact for crew regarding up-and-coming projects and cross referencing with the DP calendar to ensure alignment
- Handle vehicle bookings, deal with late arrivals, perform visual inspections, sign off vehicles from the hire company, and confirm off-hire for collection.
- Project load lists
- Sense-check, and confirm they match what is booked in the calendar (7 days ahead of activity.
- Being the main point of contact for crew on return of kit, reviewing through kit returned and making the project manager aware of any damage and confirming ongoing storage provision and making arrangements for repair as required (under supervision of Production Director)
- Allocate Soldo/fuel cards to events and arrange charging with finance team
- Manage couriers and deliveries:
- Book in and arrange collection or take to the local post office (e.g., Parcel Force dispatches for CPM).
- Be the first point of contact for TFS, managing unexpected arrival times.
- Manage information for couriers who often have limited details (e.g., "I'm collecting a parcel to go to Leeds")
- Running of ad hoc errands as and when required (local Norwich only)

- Storage options: Research and propose storage options for kit at peak times when the DP facility is at capacity or is not the best solution for kit
You would make a great Warehouse Manager if you:
- Have excellent communications skills
- Are able to prioritise and manage your own job list. With the ability to multi-task. Seek guidance from colleagues to help your workload prioritising.
- Are able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Have excellent attention to detail. Ask questions whenever unsure. Be pro-active, always trying to think of the next thing, anticipate requests, be well prepared. Add value at every opportunity.
- Understand best practice documents/templates. -project toolkits, internal business systems. Fully conversant with MS office products
- Understand how to create budgets for small projects, manage small budgets, reconcile costs against forecasted costs
- Understand the agency proposition, have an understanding of how client's business makes money, with a top-line understanding of how Hyphen makes money
- Understand H & S requirements for projects, seeking support when needed
- ideally hold a full (and preferably clean) driving license, some experience of driving cars/vans and of travel around UK, comfortable driving different cars, safe and competent with good driving record
- Forklift licence - desirable
