Home Care Worker - Lowestoft
We are looking for Home Care Workers mainly in Needham Market, Stowmarket and Ipswich in Suffolk.
Responsibilities are to support and care for our clients in their own homesTo support clients (adults and older adults) with getting up, and getting dressed, and help retiring to bed.
Provide companionship and personal care.
Medication administration
Must be prepared to visit a number of regular service users within the area, assisting with meal preparations, medication prompts, laundry, light domestic chores, bathing, dressing and continence requirements also providing much needed companionship to people within our community.
The Ideal Candidate must: Have the Right To Work in the UK.
Own a car with a clean & full driving licence.We accept applications from experienced Carers as well as individuals wanting to work in care for the first time.
Have genuine care for others
Have good communication skills
Have a flexible approach to working hours
Be reliable, hard-working with a genuine desire to care.
Be prepared to provide care and support to adults and older adults within their own homes.
Be prepared to travel around visiting our service users to assist with daily tasks such as light domestic duties to full personal care.
This post will require a good sense of humour and a great deal of common sense.
The successful applicant will demonstrate their communication skills and ability to work in partnership with the service users.
