JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor

Temporary, Part-Time hours
Salary:
£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Developing individualised learning plans based on students' needs
- Implementing strategies to help students overcome educational barriers
- Tracking and assessing students' progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
Experience:
Prior experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN support
- Experience working in a school setting
Working Conditions:
The role of SEN Tutor involves working with students in an educational setting, collaborating with other professionals, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. The position is part-time and temporary, offering flexibility in working hours.
