Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the team leader in maintaining our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space..
The work model for the role is: Onsite – Leeds, Morley #onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Buildings – Emergency Lightning division in the UK.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Ensures various warehousing operations, including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Maintains complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
- Checks the quality of incoming goods for storage.
- Participates in regular inventory control processes eg Cycle counting and Negative stocks
- Strong warehouse experience/background
- Great communication and IT skill
- Overseeing inventory management and control to minimize discrepancies.
- Supporting with quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of excellence and ensure products and services meet or exceed expectations.
- Must be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Be a licensed forklift operator (Desirable)
