Part Time Reception / Wednesday - Friday

My client, an industry leading logistics client based in Altrincham are looking to recruit a receptionist on a part time temporary to permanent basis.

Salary: £23,400 pro-rata

Part Time Hours: 2.5 days a week - Wednesday 12:30 – 17:30, Thursday & Friday 08:00 – 17:30 (24 hours per week)

My client is seeking a professional and courteous Receptionist to join their team in Altrincham. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth and efficient reception experience.

Duties:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring all staff and visitors are signed in and out.
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently.
• Manage incoming and outgoing post and couriers.
• Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Maintain the coffee machine and ordering coffee supplies.
• Order and maintain general office supplies, such as stationery.
• Manage petty cash and ensure accurate records are kept.
• Monitor the standard of cleaning provided by the cleaners and report any discrepancies.
• Keep the reception area clean and tidy at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
• A friendly and professional demeanour.
• Experience in a receptionist or similar role is preferred.
