Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in the world of food science, nutrition, and practical cookery skills.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Plan and assess student progress in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage students to develop a passion for cooking and nutrition.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the food technology department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
