We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are delighted to be working with a hugely important regional charity which is committed to improving mental health and wellbeing in the community. This highly active charity is now seeking a Fundraising manager to spearhead their income generation efforts.

Working with community groups, individuals, and businesses across the area, this role is a vital link between the charity’s invaluable work and the region they serve

As Fundraising Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the charity’s fundraising and community relationships, delivering new initiatives across the region. It is a great opportunity for a proactive fundraiser, who is passionate, engaging, and able to communicate the vision of this amazing charity effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.

Building strong relationships with corporate sponsors and fostering connections with key community groups, the Fundraising Manager will maximise the charity’s impact and engagement. You’ll get the chance to lead on a calendar of in-house events, as well as lending your expertise to third-parties, and a pool of volunteers!

The Fundraising Manager will be the driving force behind developing and leading fundraising activities across the area, so this exciting and varied role is a great opportunity to make your mark on the charity!

Fundraising Manager
Full Time, Permanent
Kent, Hybrid

Salary – Up to C. £37,500

Duties will include:
  • Leading the execution of a fundraising strategy, encompassing Corporate and Community Fundraising
  • Building and nurturing relationships with a wide range of donors, including corporations, community groups, and individuals, to secure ongoing support
  • Planning, organising, and delivering impactful fundraising events
  • Delivering public talks to raise awareness and secure local support for the charity
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience of building successful supporter relationships with donors and volunteers
  • Be a confident and skilled communicator, able to build relationships with a range of community groups, corporations, and individuals
  • Have outstanding planning, organisational, and implementation skills
  • Be willing and able to travel across the area and occasionally work outside of normal hours
  • Have a full Driving Licence, and access to a vehicle
