Retail Store Manager
Location: WokinghamJob Types: Full-time, Permanent (40hr week, trading Monday – Saturday)
Salary: £28K - £32K per annum, depending on experience (realistic OTE £45k with uncapped commission)

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Working within a small team in store.
- Generate gross profit for the store through multi-channel proactive sales activity, including outbound calling to existing customers.
- Sales Performance & Goal Setting: Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team, ensuring they’re aligned with the store’s overall objectives. Track performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure customers have a positive experience by training staff in excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of in-store service.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to meet demand, oversee stock ordering and replenishment, conduct regular stock checks, and reduce shrinkage and loss.
- Team Management & Development: Recruit, train, and develop store team. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, manage schedules, and motivate the team.
- Product Knowledge Training: Keep staff updated on new product releases, features, and industry trends. Conduct regular training sessions so that employees can confidently answer customer questions and offer solutions.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure that all in-store processes adhere to company policies, such as cash handling, store security, and Health and Safety protocols.
- Promotions & Marketing Execution: Implement and track in-store promotions, collaborate with marketing teams on local events, and use social media or email campaigns to drive traffic and interest in the store’s offerings.

- A passion for customer satisfaction and know how to create an excellent in-store experience that builds loyalty and trust.
- Previous experience in leading, developing, and motivating a team.
- Someone who has an interest in technology, particularly mobile phones and accessories, and a drive to stay updated on product features, trends, and industry news.
- Someone who can quickly assess challenges and find solutions, whether they involve customer issues, operational problems, or team dynamics
- Well organised, capable of managing schedules, inventory, reporting, and promotions, while keeping the store running smoothly.
