Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Inventor - Reading
The Redline Group are currently on the hunt for an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to support in the development of high tech, mission critical systems, for our client based in Berkshire.
You will be joining a world leading technology company, serving the global aerospace and defence industry. Working on an initial 6-month contract, you will support the design required for bespoke ruggedised computer systems.The Redline Group are currently on the hunt for an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to support in the development of high tech, mission critical systems, for our client based in Berkshire.
You will be joining a world leading technology company, serving the global aerospace and defence industry. Working on an initial 6-month contract, you will support the design required for bespoke ruggedised computer systems.
The contract is Outside IR35 indicative, therefore the successful candidate will be able to operate through their own Personal Service Company PSC.
Key skills required - Contract Mechanical Design Engineer based in Berkshire:
Experience with Autodesk InventorExperience with Autodesk Vault
Experience with Finite Element Analysis FEA – For example: thermal modelling, shock testing
Experience designing enclosures out of sheet-metal
You will also need to be eligible to pass a Baseline Personnel Security Standard BPSS check.
