Position Overview:Our client is seeking a skilled Line Leader / Production Team Leader to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Line Leader / Production Team Leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production staff to achieve targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities on the production line to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train new employees on production procedures and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and other departments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to address challenges.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
