Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Department

Fitzwilliam Hospital Peterborough - Full time

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Outpatient Department as Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner. The team you would be joining provide crucial, specialised care and management to patients in all areas of orthopaedics. You will be providing specialised care to patients in orthopaedics including hip and knee replacements.

Duties
  • Prescribe medication to patient
  • Be able to request and interpret X-rays
  • Must have Orthopaedic experience
  • Manage Follow up patients’ appointment
  • Work closely with consultants
What you’ll bring with you
  • NMC Qualification
  • IMMER Qualification/Course
  • Nurse Practitioner level.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
