JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Primary Teacher- DSP Unit in LE4 school.
Location:
Large city school in LE4
Job Type:
Temporary, Part-Time hours (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) for the rest of the acadmic year.
Duration- Summer Term.

£140 - £160 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to support students' individual needs
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Demonstrated experience in effective behaviour management and leadership
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching principles and strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or qualifications in SEN teaching
- Experience working in a diverse classroom environment
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, within a supportive educational setting. The teacher will need to adapt to the individual needs of students with SEN and collaborate effectively with colleagues and external professionals.
