Chatting / Reading to patients who may not have visitors Helping the hostess to serve meals and deliver snacks to patients.
*This role is available Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8am-8pm.* A&E Volunteer (Over 18s) Provide directional support to guide patients to the correct areas within A&E and other parts of the hospital Offer food & drink if allowed Ensure kitchen areas are clean

*This role is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am- 4pm.* Spiritual and Pastoral Care (Chaplaincy) Volunteer To complement the work of our Hospital Spiritual and Pastoral Care team, the Chaplains are fortunate to have a group of Spiritual and Pastoral Care volunteers who visit our wards / A&E.
The volunteers come from a variety of local faith / belief groups and work with the chaplains to help meet the pastoral and spiritual needs of our patients.Radio VolunteerJoin KGH Radio, Kettering hospitals radio station as a voluntary member.
Based in KetteringGeneral Hospital, carrying out duties and activities as directed by the Trustees of the radio station which will include but not limited to: Production of radio programme(s) in line with programme format Ward Visiting for purposes of request collecting Fund raisingApproximately 3 hours a week minimum commitment is required.Full technical and presentation training is given.
