About the role:

As the Head of Product , you will take the lead in defining the product strategy, vision, and execution of our product portfolio. You will head the product team, directly reporting to the Managing Director, while collaborating closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to develop innovative solutions that address market needs.
The current product team consists of a product manager, a product owner, and a UX designer, all of whom possess a strong understanding of our customer processes. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our product continues to provide value to customers while aligning with the company's growth strategy.

You must be strategic, customer-focused, and skilled at balancing immediate execution with a long-term vision. This position provides a unique opportunity to directly influence the company’s direction and success while being actively involved in hands-on product development.

Requirements

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:

  • Experience: 8+ years of product management experience in a software company, preferably in a small to mid-size SaaS environment.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading a product management team and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Product Development: Strong background in end-to-end product development, including requirements gathering, prototyping, user testing, and feature rollouts.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align product goals with business objectives and pivot quickly based on market changes.
  • Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs and experience in translating them into successful product features.
  • Technical Understanding: While not necessarily from a technical background, you should have a solid understanding of software development principles and agile methodologies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Adept at navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive decisions, set priorities, and measure outcomes.
