About Our Client

Job Description- Manage all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage the rebate process.
- Posting bank transactions.
- Balance sheet reconciliations involving a high volume of transactions.
- Analyse labour recovery/process costs for the Manufacturing site.
- Analyse Freight costs.
- Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns
- Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accounts Assistant should have:
- AAT Qualified would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong background in Accounts Payable would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills
- A competitive salary range of £27,000 - £33,000
