Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor at Tempest Resourcing, you will play an integral role in ensuring that students continue their education seamlessly and are engaged with their work. You will be responsible for managing classroom behavior, following lesson plans, and helping students stay on track.

• Contract Type: Temporary
• Full time and part time available
• Rate of Pay: £80 - £120 per day (PAYE and Umbrella options available)
• Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM

• Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and facilitate student engagement.
• Enforce school policies and maintain discipline within the classroom.
• Assist students with their learning by providing guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with fellow staff about student performance and issues.
• Prepare the classroom and learning resources before lessons.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; degree in education or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in an educational setting or with children is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a focused learning environment.
• Proactive attitude with strong organizational abilities.
• Passion for education and student learning.
• Flexibility to adapt to various classroom situations.
