Exciting opportunity for a fun and creative individual with a passion for care and an artistic flair. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced activities coordinator or a university graduate (with knowledge of art, dementia, mental health or social care).

• Pay £11.44 per hour
• 20 - 30+ hours per week, with flexible rota.

The role will include:

• Planning and delivering group and individual activities to our lovely residents some of which are residential, some nursing and some with dementia. This can be art, entertainment, games and personalised interactive activities.
• Organising events - We host a range of charity, local support group, community and seasonal events, which generally involve eating lots of cake and caring for our lovely residents as well as working in partnership with local organisations such as schools, churches and groups.
• Support with the care, well being and entertainment of the residents at the home.
• Be able to work within a budget to provide meaningful activities in the home.

Required skills, qualification and experience:

• Have some experience or transferrable skills that relate to this role.
• Preferably Have a NVQ level 2 or a relevant degree in mental, health and social care.
• Be able to provide 2 suitable recent references.
• Have good spoken and written English skills, able to use email and social media platforms.
