Finance Director

Working closely with the CEO, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial activities within the organisation and its trading subsidiary, whilst shaping and executing the financial strategy to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.Day to day duties include:Provide senior strategic finance leadership on behalf of the charity with major stakeholdersProvide financial leadership, sector insight and strategic management advice to the CEOOwn the audit strategy managing financial auditsCommunicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to a variety of stakeholdersOversee all aspects of finance including management accounts, budgeting, cash flow, VAT and financial controlsEnsure the integrity of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirementsProvide timely advice on new and current business income generation initiativesManage cash flow and investment, including relationship with investment managersUndertake and manage projects or key strategic work providing constructive challengeLead in the development and implementation of effective systems and procedures Essentials:CCAB Qualified Accountant with extensive post qualified experience Experience operating at Finance Director level within a charity or commercial environment Proven experience reporting to board levelAbility to drive financial strategies Salary range is £85,000 - £100,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits.
