An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a can do attitude to join the Gynaecology Department as a Colposcopy and Cervical Screening Administrator.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, motivated and caring individual to join our team.

The Colposcopy Administrator will work as part of a team of administrators to manage the end-to-end clinical administrative processes associated to the patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, for our patients and customers

Main duties of the job

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, you must be committed to a high standard of patient care, and safety .You will have a flexible attitude to work and be able to work as part of a team

You will play a vital role in the delivery of patient care via the management of the patient’s end-to-end pathway

You will be working at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, within the Women’s and Children's Division of the Family and Women’s Health Group.

The post is a permanent, Full time - band 3 role.

With a starting salary of £24,071 PA with regular increments. Also eligibility to join the NHS pension scheme and 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays upon entry.

Although previous administration experience is essential, we are primarily looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude.

The successful candidates will join a friendly and supportive team that values the contribution of all staff.

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
• NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent qualification
• Excellent keyboard skills

Experience

• Experience of providing a service to patients or customers
• Experience of using electronic systems
• Experience of Microsoft Office products
• Working knowledge within the General Data Protection Regulations 2018
• Team Working

• Previous NHS administration
