Summary
A world-leading design engineering and project management organisation are looking to add a Health Safety Consultant to their regional team based in Scotland
The role can be based in the in either the Glasgow Edinburgh or Aberdeen Offices and will cover a range of sectors including but not limited to property industrial and education
Responsibilities
The role is primarily based on the delivery of CDM Services although experience of delivering additional associated Health Safety Services could be an advantage
You will be responsible for delivering a number of roles which we have established following the introduction of CDM 2015 in all technical and contractual aspects of professional practice while also- Providing Health Safety Services on both independent commissions and also to complement our wider project delivery services
- Production of pre-construction information files and other associated CDM documents
- Ensuring Designer compliance
- Reviewing contractors documentation
- Interfacing with clients and design teams on project basis
- Advise clients on procurement options and consultant appointment issues
- Pro-active in business development of the Services within the Region Keep updated with current legal developments in respect of construction and associated law
- We require a consultant with suitable and relevant experience ideally from a design or construction background
- Professional Qualification in Design or Construction
- NEBOSH qualified (ideally Construction Certificate)
- Preferable Member of APS IOSH
- Experience in a similar role
- Good IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office Word Excel and Outlook
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the component parts of CDM2015 and other Health Safety issues
- Driving Licence
