About Our Client

Our client is a highly successful, growing and fast paced national business. You will be based from the head office near junction 26 of the M1 and will be working as part of a team of 14 in finance. Our client is fabulous at progressing and developing its employees.

Job Description

You will be producing insightful financial data, which will support with driving business performance. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Working with various departments across the business
• Having regular meetings with the senior leadership team
• Supporting with the monthly management accounts process, which includes: sales ledger journals, accrued income and reconciling the debtors
• Producing credit reports for the Head of Credit.
• Balance sheet reconciliations for debtor movements, VAT and cash.
• Bad debt provisioning and write offs.
• Preparing KPI reports with analysis.
• Analyse revenue transactions and ensure correct coding within the P&L.
• Supporting with ensuring internal controls and procedures are effective.
• Support the annual audit and statutory accounts process.

The Successful Applicant

To apply for this position, you:

• Will have experience of working in management accounts, including balance sheet and P&L
• Will be competent with double entry bookkeeping
• Will ideally be studying an accounting qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA or AAT
• Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic working environment.

• £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent upon experience)
• Potential for study support for CIMA, ACCA or AAT
