Specialising in areas such as police law, inquests, inquiries, data protection and public law, we are seeking a marketing leader to drive its profile, strengthen client relationships, and support barristers in building successful practices.

  • Track and report on performance of marketing initiatives, adapting strategy as needed
Brand & Communications
  • Maintain a strong and consistent brand across all materials and channels
  • Oversee the website, social media, and digital content
  • Manage legal directory submissions (Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500) and raise the profile of Chambers and its members through thought leadership and newsletters
Client Development & Events
  • Identify and pursue new relationship-building opportunities with solicitors and legal teams
  • Organise and manage client events, training sessions, webinars, and seminars
  • Collect and analyse client feedback to improve service and engagement
Support for Members
  • Support barristers with marketing initiatives, online profiles, and networking opportunities
  • Assist in promoting individual and collective achievements
Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and provide regular updates to the Business Development Committee
  • Liaise with senior clerks, committees, and the administrative team to support Chambers-wide initiatives

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing, communications, or business development role
  • Professional services experience, ideally in the legal sector or a similar environment
  • Strong strategic thinking and hands-on delivery capability
  • Excellent writing, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Bar and its regulatory landscape
  • Event management and digital marketing experience
  • CIM or equivalent marketing qualification
