Your New School
We have an exciting new Senior Finance Officer role in a beautiful Primary Community School based in Bilston. You will be reporting to one of the assistant headteachers, working alongside an office administrator.
Key Responsibilities in Your New Role- Undertake financial tasks in accordance with agreed policies, appropriate legislation and financial regulations and standing orders
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of financial systems and processes
- Processing and distributing supplier payments & monitoring payment due dates
- Production and analysis of figures for the accountants for departmental heads
- Preparing month end reconciliations and financial reports
- Managing school budgets & "Parent Pay"
- Arranging procurement of products
- Invoicing deliveries
- Auditing accounts
- Expenses claims
- Placing orders
- Payroll
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Proficiency in using SIMS Systems
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Proficiency in using school IT software packages - PS Financials accounting software
