Activity Co-ordinator | Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking for an Activity coordinator who is passionate, motivated and willing to join our team in providing recovery focused support for individuals with mental health needs.
This post is for 20 hours a week (inclusive of evening and weekend working) fixed term to cover Maternity Leave.
Interview will be taken place in a face to face setting.
*Please note that the use of AI is monitored and if used in your application must be declared*- To provide interventions with personal recovery principles in order to improve the service users’ quality of life and to support them to do the things they want to do and live the life they want to lead.
- To facilitate a programme of social, creative and skills-based activities to both individuals and groups which promotes social inclusion for service users.
- To work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) in leading on the facilitation of client centred activities.

To provide culturally appropriate activities for service users.
To work as a team member to deliver clinical interventions under supervision and direction, using activities as a treatment medium to support service users to achieve / develop/maintain daily living skills.
To assist in the assessment process under the supervision of a qualified OT for example; the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) assessments.
To support service users to engage in social, diversional and recreational activities.
To plan, implement and review a range of activities using individual and group work approaches, under the supervision and direction of qualified occupational therapists.
To support service users to engage in care plans which have been developed in partnership with the individual and that reflect ‘recovery goals.
To support service users to establish links with local community groups, voluntary sector services such as MIND, local college and employment support services.
