Morson Group is recruiting for x 6 experienced Wireperson Panel builders for a12-month contract working in East Anglia (Bury St Edmunds)

Must have previous experience working on Substations as a Wireman Panel builder

This role will require the individual to work as part of a team delivering a portfolio of work replacing primary (33 11kv) transformers and associated plant In addition there will be a requirement to undertake self-managed qualify of supply schemes involving secondary substation asset replacements Previous experience undertaking this type of work is essential due to the short mobilisation time current holder of DNO ( Distribution Network Operator) competencies is preferred but not essential The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the CDM requirements associated with this work and be able to demonstrate their previous Health and Safety performance

You will play a vital role in the safe completion of the Inspection Maintenance and defect Repairs of substations plant and equipment

Contracted Days Monday &ndash Friday
Daily Rate £ 300 - £ 350 - LTD (PAYE Umbrella payments also available)

Essential qualifications tickets required

NVQ 2356-99 Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services Experienced Worker &ndash Panel Building
Hold a CSCS Gold card for Wireman Panel builder - ideally
Wiring control cabinets for HV plant and equipment up to and including 132kV
Ideally an apprenticeship in a power distribution (or similar) company
Be able to demonstrate experience working on regional electricity networks and therefore have a comprehensive knowledge of the electrical distribution network

Hold a current UK driving licence

If you are successful you will need to undertake a medical and DBS reference check
