About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a wide range of needs in Barnstaple’s exceptional SEN schools. These schools are committed to creating an inclusive and positive environment, offering support to children with additional needs.You’ll be part of a skilled and compassionate team that fosters a supportive and enriching educational experience. As part of the role, you’ll benefit from full preparation and support, including a meet-and-greet session and a trial day to ensure you’re confident and comfortable in your new role.

Key Details:
- Start Date: ASAP – Flexible openings to match your schedule.
- Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm – Start on a temporary contract, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
- Pay: £85-£95 per day – Competitive weekly pay, depending on experience.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them engage and achieve.
- Work alongside teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
- Ensure a positive and safe environment, encouraging students’ emotional and social development.
- Adapt resources and activities to match each student’s unique learning needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet the holistic needs of students.
