Site Engineer / Senior Engineer
My client is a long established, leading, regional Civil Engineering Contractor.
Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southwestern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis ideally a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work in Devon. They have projects commencing in Barnstaple and Sidmouth in the coming weeks.
Although their preference would be a permanently employed individual, they would also consider someone that would prefer a long term contract position.
Initially, you will be managing civil engineering projects predominantly in the water and wastewater sectors.- Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
- Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
- Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
- Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
- Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
- Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
- Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
