The Planning Manager (Development Management) will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of our development management service, together with planning enforcement, and you will personally handle more complex planning applications.

Strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage within the Council, with its residents, applicants, and elected members, are essential.

You should be a member of the RTPI with an excellent knowledge and experience of planning and development control. You should also be computer literate and understand development control IT systems, able to manage people and budgets, and also possess strong negotiation skills.
