Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with a number of Secondary Academies based in Chestefield who are looking to engage regular cover supervisor support over the next academic year.This role would be perfect for a graduate who is considering going on to complete Teacher training, or an experienced Cover Supervisor.
We are seeking an outstanding candidate who is confident and resilient, has the ability to command a room and deliver instructions, and the confidence to manage low level behaviours in line with school behaviour management policies. The job- The schools are looking for someone who is passionate about education and working with children to provide the very best opportunity for students across the school.
- In this exciting role, you will deliver pre-set work from the subject specialist teacher with timings and tasks to be completed throughout the lesson.
- You will be expected to manage low level behaviours in line with school behaviour policy, and escalate to internal teams any unmanageable behaviours.
- You will be responsible for recording attendance, and logging any praise or negative feedback on students engagement and behaviours throughout the lesson.
- Ideally be degree qualified, or have a good level of education with experience as a Cover Supervisor.
- Have a resilient and productive personal mindset.
- Be confident with addressing behaviours of students (training will be provided)
- Follow policies and procedures outlined by the school.
You will also be required to provide 2 professional references covering at least the last 2 years, and complete our online application followed by a video or face to face interview.
